Chef de Cuisine - Luxury cruise company
Main responsibilities include: being in charge of cooking demonstrations and lessons for up to 20 guests at a time, run the galley with a daily menu change according to the ships itinerary, and to coordinate guest's special orders and dietary requirements.
This role also requires you to assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, ensure that there is an accurate count of inventory in the designated galley outlet on a regular basis, and to train and supervise team members.
To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 4 year's experience at an international 5 star establishment as a Chef de Cuisine, and prior to this have at least 2 years experience as a Sous Chef in a Michelin Star restaurant/ Relais Chateaux.
Excellent HACCP knowledge is a must.
A valid basic STCW certificate is required for this position.
Rotation for this position is 4 months on, 2 months off.
The salary is paid in USD whilst onboard.
