Itinerary: Florida - Bahamas
Sailing catamaran experience is needed.
Requirements:
STCW + Refresher
ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)
Passport
Strong engineering background
VISA: B1/B2 visa
Captain needs to be experienced with similar sailing cats, with a strong engineering background, as well as offshore sailing experience, preferably with multihulls. RYA Yachtmaster Ocean is preferable but not essential. We are a blue water yacht with many Atlantic and Pacific crossings under her belt usually on her own keels. She has interesting and varied programs, so crew need to be hard working, and flexible to fit with her schedule. Most likely schedule is 2021 summer in Bahamas and the US east coast. Followed by winter 2021/22 down island, then 2022 spring/summer in the med.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
