Hi my name is Paula, I have a Master 1600, Chief Mate 3000, OOW unlimited licence and all certificates up to date, power boat level II, power craft experience, medical certificate Eng I, GMDSS (GOC) radio, ARPA, Ship Security Officer (SSO), Advanced Medical First Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting, (ISM), Health and Safety, MSDT instructor ( PADI ), seaman book, ready to embark, valid passport until 2029, vaccinations : yellow fiber and hepatitis A-B .
I am a very dynamic person, a team player with good leadership qualities.
I have controlled safety materials, life rafts, fire fighting equipment, life yacket. Bridge: Alarms, lights, electronic and navigation equipment, paper chart, ship's paperwork, delegate functions to buson o deck.
Working as a team, with very good communication, good atmosphere and positive reinforcement, exceeding objectives and renewing ourselves with recycling courses in winter.
Experience in MY and SY up to 45 m, 101 GT. Excellent tender driving. With good attention to detail.
I have crossed the Atlantic and sailed the Mediterranean.
I have also navigated the Argentinian coast as mate on a french vessel from Buenos Aires to the Falklands.
Before my career as a navigator I studied microbiology, specialized in bacteria, but soon my hobby, diving, became my job and passion.
My holidays mostly consist of live aboard diving (Maldives, Komodo, Sipadan, Red Sea, Zanzibar) or hiking in Iceland, Patagonia, Iguazu Falls or Borneo.
Single, no Piercing , no tattoos, non smoker, no alcohol.
My wish is to visit Antarctica one day.
