Male, 39 years old.

My name is Oleksiy Ivanov and I work as Chief Engineer at Offshore Oil and Gas Industry for 8 years. My total offshore experience is 13 years with various installations, power plants and ships.

I have extensive engineering experience with different power plants, DP system classes and activity of vessels. Planned, ran through and finished numerous Shipyards, dry docks and project mobilization/de-mobilization activities. Lead many OVID, CMID, FMEA, DP trials, ISO, internal and external audits on board. I have gained valuable experience in many complex programs, like Offshore subsea construction projects, shipyard/dry dock repairs and ship modification, mobilization and de-mobilization before and after the project. Sea bed flexi cable/pipe laying, Heavy Lift operations, Accommodation service, Geo-technical drilling, Well intervention, Salvage, AHTS, PSV, DSV, ROV. And as a Chief Engineer, I am fully involved in Management, planning, repairs and spare parts arrangement. The most important aspects of my duty are Health, Safety, Environment and Quality. Safe daily operation of Engine Room, environmental protection and repair projects are solidly combined with Work Permits, Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks and Hazards Identification, Lock out/Tag out isolation system.

Professional of the Planned Maintenance Systems like Shipsure 1.5 and 2 version, TMaster 2, Star IPS, Amos.

I have a strong knowledge and experience of engineering and maintenance of various machinery: High Voltage electrical supply and Diesel-electric propulsion plants, hydraulics, pneumatic, ventilation and auxiliary systems. Have good skills in lathe turning, electrical arc welding and fitting. I worked as an operator of winches, towing pins (Shark jaw/Karm fork) at anchor handling operations.

And as a Chief Engineer. I like to put my own hands on the machinery.

I am an energetic Mechanic with a diverse background. Professional, that strives to exceed expectations, while effectively building business partnerships.

Education: Ukraine Odessa National Marine Academy Magister and Bachelor degree of Power plants automation. 1999 – 2005 year.
