Present yourself:
I have always been dreaming about work at sea as it is my family tradition. I would like to gain professional skills, experience and knowledge under the supervision of experienced crew members so as to join them one day as a member of their team.
I am currently in my third year of study at the Faculty of Navigation, Gdynia Maritime University in Poland, pursuing bachelor’s degree in Maritime Transportation. Owing to my academic education I have acquired a wide range of theoretical knowledge, as well as, some practical training. During my studies, I gained experience on board the S/V ‘Dar Mlodziezy’ and the R/V’ Horyzont II’. During the sea trainings I acquired some basic skills, knowledge and experience regarding vocational qualifications in radar and manoeuvring operations. I am a hard-working and conscientious person on whom my mates and academic teachers could and can always rely on. I have fulfilled all my tasks and duties on time. Moreover, I proved to be a team leader during the studies. Apart from team working abilities I have a lot of energy to face various challenges. I am a good organiser and a fast learning person who is able to work under stress and pressure. I am confident that all these features of my character, as well as, my knowledge make me a good candidate for this position.
Main achievement : 2019-2021 Rector's scholarship for the best student.
Projects : I was the project leader in production of the film promoting Gdynia Maritime University.
