I am Tonci Mijic, Croatian nationality, but living in Ecuador. My passport and the certificates are issued in Croatia. I am ETO (electro-technical officer) with 14 years of dredging experience with Jan de Nul and 8 years experience on merchant vessels. All my certificates are valid and they are available on the request, also my CV and sea service.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to positive business results through effective organization, prioritization and follow-through of key organizational projects. My strengths and qualifications are an ideal match for the ETO requirements and will bring immediate value to the team on board. In my former ETO role, I exercised a calculated and methodical approach to problem-solving on various ongoing projects. While I am independently motivated, I appreciate collective efforts and collaborate productively within group settings. Moreover, I am competent in:
-electro energetics (LV/MV/HV)
-electronics, automation, control systems and instruments
-AV/IT + VSAT, SAT TV, IT, entertiment system and networking (on board with 70 persons accomodation)
-proficient in hydraulic, HVAC and refrigeration systems (ammonia and Freon)
-safety, fire, smoke and gas detection systems, automatic closing doors, watertight doors
-security, CCTV, key cards locking doors

My carrier with Jan de Nul was mostly on the trailing suction hopper dredgers including elecrtical and automation supervising throu rebuilding after fire damage of TSHD Vasco de Gama and electrical and automation supervising new building of THSD Bartolomeu Dias as well as offshore, the sub sea rock installation vessel "Simon Stevin". The rest of my sea service wason the merchant ships, reefers and containers mostly.
