I’ve started my career in the yacht industry in the summer of 2018, in Europe. My interests and other job experiences makes yachting the perfect career for me. I’m able to work with different kind of guests and colleagues, to adapt fast, to work under pressure and to work well in a team or on my own. Beside of that I’m always trying to grow, learn and develop new skills.
I'm organized, great with people, problem solver, adjustability, time management, out of the box thinking, energetic, optimist, eye for detail.
Hobbies: Travelling, outdoor sports like surfing, running, skating, diving, cycling, skiing and yoga, cooking, photography and reading. I’m a true oceanlover and always lived close to the sea. My parents have a small motorboat and I always loved sailing through the canals of my hometown Haarlem.
Work Experience:
Deck/Stew, M/Y CoCo 15m & M/Y Circa Spirit 22m, Sydney – 01-2019 - 12-2019
Sydney Boat Club offers mostly 4 or 5 hour private cruises for a variety of occasions including birthdays, corporate functions, sight-seeing cruises, fishing, hens/bachelor parties, etc. My duties: preparing the boat before leaving, assisting with food & drinks, mooring the boat, taking care of cleanliness of the boat.
Solestewardess, M/Y Aroona 21m, Cairns – 1-7-’19 - 26-7-’19 & 5-9-’19 - 21-9-’19
I’ve done 4 charters in the Great Barrier Reef and the Torres Strait. Aroona is an Outer Reef motor yacht and during the charter guests can go diving, snorkeling, kitesurfing, fishing, swimming with minke whales, etc. My duties were housekeeping, service, running laundry, ironing, turn downs/turn ups.
3th Stewardess/deckhand, M/Y ZoZo 40m, Turkey – 13-08-2018 - 31-10-2018
This motoryacht has private owners from Egypt. My duties were running laundry, ironing, housekeeping, maintain the cleanliness of crew mess and helping the first mate with docking, washdowns, waxing, brightwork, detailing and other maintenance of the boat.
From the moment I started my job on this boat, the owners and their guests have stayed for two weeks. After the season they decided to sell the boat. We’ve prepared the boat for the Monaco boatshow and we welcomed potential sellers from the moment that the owners left till the end of my contract.

We had a 8 days charter with a British family. We had 8 guests on board, 4 adults and 4 children. My duties were housekeeping, service, running laundry, ironing, turn downs/turn ups and maintain the cleanliness of crew mess.
2nd Stewardess/deckhand, M/Y SIA 35m, Palma de Mallorca – 01-05-2018 - 15-07-2018
This motoryacht has a private owner from India, based in Mallorca. We had some charters to Saint Tropez, Monaco, Barcelona and Marbella, where the boat stayed for the summer.
The owner had guests on board frequently.
My duties were running laundry, ironing, housekeeping, turn downs/turn ups, maintain the cleanliness of crew mess, some service and helping the first mate with docking, washdowns, brightwork, detailing and other maintenance of the boat.
