Dear company,

My name is María Ruiz Tendero, I have finished my fourth and last year at the Escuela Superior Náutica of the University of Cantabria in the absence of a subject, the boarding practices and the final degree project. At the moment I look forward to gaining experience as a deck officer, so that I can put my knowledge and skills into practice.

I would be very pleased if you could give me the opportunity of being employed in it on this training scheme for a period from three to six months, so that I can get my first work experience as a deck officer. I am available from this moment and I would have no problem moving anywhere.It would be fully available and ready to board now, as if it were tomorrow. I have all the certificates in order, passport, maritime booklet and yellow fever.

I am not looking for great economic reward, I simply need a supplement for daily living costs.

I have a good knowledge of English (I am holder of the British Council First Certificate).

As to the necessary procedures, it would only be necessary for the company to complete the acceptance letter which is attached in this email.
