DECKHAND
As a dedicated and easy-going individual with a passion for the maritime industry. I believe that I can adapt to any environment with ease. I will be an asset to any team.
Physically I am fit and able to handle the demands of any job, including heavy lifting and working in adverse weather conditions. My background in being an amateur boxer and owning an active boxing gym, aids in these characteristics and more, including how to deal with clients and any unforeseen circumstances.
In addition, I am a quick learner and have a strong attention to detail, which I believe will be an asset in this role. I am also a team player and can work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
I have a solid understanding about the responsibilities of a Deckhand, including deck maintenance duties such as cleaning, teak repairs, docking and mooring procedures, watchkeeping, washdowns and more. I am excited to learn and develop my skills in these areas.
