OBJECTIVE

I’m looking to find work as a Deckhand or Steward on a Sailing or Motor Yacht, with the goal of launching a successful career in this industry. I’m driven by the desire to explore and by my ultimate goal to become the Captain of a Yacht one day, and I look forward to work hard and learn fast while enjoying my journey to get there.

PROFILE

I’m fit and healthy, hardworking, dependable and I learn new things quickly. I’m a problem solver by nature and I don’t shy away from any sorts of tasks, no matter how menial they might be. Through my time spent in sailing yachts and offshore construction vessels, I’ve become accustomed to living with other people in small spaces, and I make it my priority to contribute to a healthy, safe and positive environment on board. I’ve gained offshore sailing experience, having sailed across the Atlantic on one occasion already, and in my time I have done countless regattas, which makes me quite competitive if I’m participating in a race. I can drive tenders confidently and safely, as I’ve spent extensive time driving them whilst being a sailing instructor.
