My name is Brendan, I am 23, from Ireland and I work as a skipper on Irish inland waterways (estuaries, rivers and canals) operating two 20 metre class V passenger ships, I have two years experience in this role and another year previously as a deckhand on these same vessels. I also have experience operating ribs in similar environments. I am now seeking to further my career by entering the yachting industry, as I am new to this environment I am seeking an entry level position. I am a diligent worker a good communicator and fast learner and I can provide good references. I currently have valid EFA and PST STCW certificates, I also have a bachelors degree and a masters degree in coastal and marine environments and have worked onboard research vessels off the West Coast of Ireland as part of my studies.
